Steve and Carol live in Hermosa Beach, Ca, a small beach city in the southbay area of Los Angeles County. Carol is from Renton, WA and they met while Carol was staying with Kim Biggs on the 4B’s Ranch. Steve and Carol married while living in Redondo Beach, CA in 1974 and moved to Anchorage, AK in 1975, returning to settle in Hermosa in 1976.
Steve and Carol have three great children; Cassidy, 24, a flight attendant for U.S. Air and living in Tempe, AZ. Chelsea, 18, and Shane, 16. Chelsea is studying music and Shane is majoring in fun, his study habits remind me of me. Carol works for the SouthBay Association of Realtors and Steve is a partner in an Arby’s franchise in Santa Monica and serves on the Hermosa Beach Parks and Rec Commission. They have a yellow lab named Corona, two cats–Cally & Charlie and a parakeet named Bud the Bird. Still have Corona, she’s slowing down and one cat has survived, Charlie a calico that is the neighborhood greeter. Bud the Bird flew away one day and we hope is living happily in the wilds of Hermosa. Both Steve and Carol are active in community events.
