Susan and Tom Hoover were married in August of 1972 and have two children, Tom, 34 and Jeana, 29. Tom is married to Nora and has 3 children, Aaron, 5, Laura, 3 and Julia, 5 months. Tom teaches English and Nora is an artist in business with her family in Budapest , Hungary where the family makes their home. The grandchildren are bi-lingual, speaking English and Hungarian.
Jeana married Chris Cooper in March, ’03 and live in Kansas City. They have a Farmer’s Insurance Agency and Susan is hoping for some Grandchildren that live in the U.S.
Susan worked in banking for many years and Tom has retired from education. Both Tom and Susan are busy running Hoover’s 303, a family and city tradition for many years. Tom and Susan are preparing to downsize to a condo at Westwood Hills next summer aided by classmate Sam Schalk who is developing the condo project.
Traveling to Hungary to see their grandchildren is in the plan for the near future along with having time to do things they enjoy.
