I just wanted to say hi! It’s been awhile since I have been able to find you – as in when I went in the Army back in 1970 after “enjoying” life at Memphis State too much prior to playing soldier.

Hi Ken,
I found this site by googling my name – something very strange going on here since I do not live in Charlotte, NC, but near San Diego, CA. My mom did live there but passed away in March, and I have a sister there on Pleasant Drive.
Anyway, nice to hear from you and you can e-mail me further at the above e-mail address.

Hi young lady,
I happened upon your name finally last year. I am currently teaching @ one of the Penn St. campuses, but will be returning to the Memphis area where we have a home. After I spent my time in the Army I returned to Memphis. I got married in 11/72 and my wife Diane has tolerated me since then. We have 2 kids(?) with the youngest born in 1981.
He wanted to join the Marines, but we agreed to let him join the National Guard prior to him turning 18. Unfortunately 9/11 occurred after that so he served in Iraq in 2005 with the 101st Airborne & 2nd Marines based in the middle of the Sunni Triangle. He saw more than any human being should have.
Our daughter is currently working on the Gulf cleanup while her husband finishes his PhD. At S. MS.
I have not decided what I will do when I get back to Memphis, but have several options available & am looking at several opportunities in the Huntsville area as well.
I retired from Ford Mtr. Co. several yrs. ago, but still have an interest in geology/ geography.
I am jealous of you living in the S. CA area. Nice area!!!
